Aisha Alfa's story is a funny tale of a fantasy that goes a little off the rails but comes back together for a grand finale, of sorts. Then we got lost in chats about one-night stands and fame, plus so much more. Born in Nigeria, raised in Winterpeg, now making her home in Toronto, Aisha Alfa is making a name for herself in the Canadian comedy, hosting and acting scenes. She is the previous winner of Winnipeg’s Funniest Person with a Day Job, has performed at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival and was a finalist in this year’s Toronto Comedy Brawl. She’s on MTV Canada and Much Music and was featured in the comedy documentary Sign Up & Stand Up. Aisha loves laughing and hates bananas. Follow Aisha on Twitter @aishaalfa or visit her website at aishaalfa.com.
Joining us in studio was our second guest, Paddy Jane, Captain of the No Pants Society, also known as Red Zeppelin when shaking it on stage.
Paddy sat down with us to share a somewhat tragic story of a not-so-nice Irish man named Tony, his parents, and some interesting erotic art. Then we kept the conversation going with some caught in the act related parent stories. Paddy is Captain of the No Pants Society, firmly hates pants, has been working in radio for years, performs rock style burlesque among other things, including go-go performances, as Red Zeppelin, and is curating the 52 Pin-Ups project. This gal is as busy as we are! Follow Paddy on Twitter @paddyjane.
